On Friday night’s live broadcast, Anwar announced the lineup of Malaysia new Cabinet, saying that various pro bono advisers, lead by Tan Sri Hassan Merican, the former president and chief executive officer of Petroliam Nasional Bhd, will assist the government with concerns, particularly those within the Finance Ministry (Petronas).
Anwar has stated that his Cabinet ministers include members of the leading coalitions in the unity government. Ministerial representation includes 15 from PH, 6 from BN, 5 from GPS, and 1 from GRS.
