Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, has announced the formation of a Malaysia new Cabinet list, in which he would take on the role of Finance Minister.

List Of Malaysia New Cabinet

On Friday, the 28-member Malaysia new Cabinet list that makes up the unity government was presented, with portfolios being allocated among the various party heads.

Zahid Hamidi and Fadillah Yusof, a former Works Minister from the Gabungan Parti Sarawak, became the first ever co-deputy prime ministers of Malaysia.

Finance Minister – Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim

Anwar Ibrahim, who was just just named Prime Minister of Malaysia, announced on Friday that he will also serve as the country’s Finance Minister of Malaysia new Cabinet list. This will be Anwar Ibrahim’s second time serving in this cabinet job; the first time was thirty years ago.

On Friday night’s live broadcast, Anwar announced the lineup of Malaysia new Cabinet, saying that various pro bono advisers, lead by Tan Sri Hassan Merican, the former president and chief executive officer of Petroliam Nasional Bhd, will assist the government with concerns, particularly those within the Finance Ministry (Petronas).

Anwar has stated that his Cabinet ministers include members of the leading coalitions in the unity government. Ministerial representation includes 15 from PH, 6 from BN, 5 from GPS, and 1 from GRS.
