Although university students are returning to campus by stages starting this month, there are still many who has to continue to learn from home through online lessons. As internet data is essential for online learning, YTL Foundation through Yes is offering university students a Free Yes 4G SIM with 7GB of 4G data monthly for one year.

In fact, this initiative has been ongoing since last year and the foundation has decided to extend it until 30 September 2022.

Learn From Home University Campaign

The campaign allows students to receive the free SIM and data with no contract as well as upfront payment required. 

All students have to do is to apply for it at the YTL Foundation website by selecting their respective university. 

Currently, 34 colleges and universities are participating in the campaign to provide both students and staff with free internet coverage.

Data extension for existing recipients

Existing recipients of the campaign may extend their data online and continue to enjoy the free monthly data.

However, they will have to opt-in for the extension here before 16 October 2021 to be eligible.
