Johor’s football spirit has found a new home in the world of LEGO.
LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort has unveiled a LEGO recreation of Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, the home ground of Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) Football Club. Launched on 16 August 2026, the new attraction is now part of the resort’s well-known MINILAND.
More than a miniature landmark, the build celebrates Johor’s football culture while giving families and JDT supporters a new way to experience one of the state’s most recognisable modern icons.
Over 400,000 LEGO Bricks Bring the Stadium to Life
The MINILAND Sultan Ibrahim Stadium was built using more than 400,000 LEGO bricks, with careful attention given to recreating the character of JDT’s home ground.
Visitors can experience animated match-day scenes supported by crowd movements, immersive sound, lighting effects and interactive features. Together, these details aim to capture some of the atmosphere fans associate with a live football match.
The attraction also represents a more technology-driven direction for MINILAND, combining traditional LEGO model-building with interactive storytelling.
Celebrating Johor’s Football Identity

For LEGOLAND Malaysia, the stadium fits naturally into MINILAND’s wider collection of landmarks and cityscapes representing Malaysia and the region.
Cs Lim, Vice President of LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort, said the addition celebrates a modern Johor icon while connecting with Malaysian visitors and football fans from around the world.
JDT Chief Operating Officer Alistair Edwards described Sultan Ibrahim Stadium as more than a football venue, calling it a symbol of Johor’s “ambition, unity and passion”.
Its recreation at LEGOLAND also introduces the JDT story to younger visitors who may experience the club’s football culture through LEGO play for the first time.
Where Football Fandom Meets Family Fun
The collaboration brings together two different communities, football supporters and LEGO fans through an experience designed for families.
Whether visitors are passionate Southern Tigers supporters or simply exploring MINILAND, the attraction offers another way to discover Johor’s identity through sport, creativity and local landmarks.
It also adds to Johor’s growing collection of family and tourism experiences, giving visitors another reason to explore Iskandar Puteri and its surrounding attractions.
Limited-Edition Annual Pass Introduced

To celebrate the launch, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort has also introduced an exclusive limited-edition Annual Pass and rewards programme inspired by design elements from Sultan Ibrahim Stadium.
The pass comes with selected privileges across LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort and JDT experiences. Additional activities and rewards are also planned to connect both fan communities.
