Guinness Malaysia has revealed its Top 30 Perfect Pint Bars 2026, recognising participating outlets that have consistently maintained the standards behind a well-served Guinness Draught.
The recognition comes through the nationwide Rate Your Pint campaign, which allows consumers to rate their Guinness Draught and contribute to the brand’s Perfect Pint Guide.
Over 7,000 Ratings Submitted Nationwide
More than 7,000 ratings were submitted by 3,480 consumers across 677 participating outlets in Malaysia.
The final Top 30 were selected through a combination of consumer ratings and Guinness Perfect Pint quality assessments conducted by HEINEKEN Malaysia’s Star Academy team.
The recognised outlets are located across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Johor, Perak, Sabah and Sarawak, giving the campaign a nationwide presence.
What Makes a Guinness Perfect Pint?

Through the campaign, consumers are encouraged to recognise a properly served Guinness Draught using three simple checks.
These include Serve, where the drink comes in a clean glass with a Guinness coaster; Tilt, where the creamy head remains intact without spilling; and Taste, which looks for a balanced and smooth Guinness Draught.
The campaign gives consumers the role of “Chief Pint Officer”, allowing them to take part in recognising outlets that maintain serving quality.
Training Bartenders to Maintain Quality
Behind the Perfect Pint initiative is Star Academy, HEINEKEN Malaysia’s training programme that works with bartenders to maintain Guinness Perfect Pour standards.
So far, 12 Guinness Trainers have trained 1,696 bartenders across 406 outlets nationwide.
Sean O’Donnell, Marketing Director of HEINEKEN Malaysia, said the Rate Your Pint campaign was designed to help consumers better understand what goes into a well-served Guinness Draught.
He added that the response showed consumers notice the small details, while the Top 30 recognition celebrates outlets that consistently put care into every serve.
Raising Hospitality Standards in Malaysia

The initiative also highlights the importance of bartender skills and consistent service within Malaysia’s food and beverage industry.
By combining professional training with direct consumer feedback, the campaign encourages both outlets and customers to pay greater attention to serving standards.
For participating bars, recognition in the Top 30 can also help highlight the work that happens behind the counter to deliver a consistent customer experience.
