For many young Malaysians, the path to greatness begins on school fields, courts, and pools. The 56th MOE-MSSM-MILO® Sports Awards 2024 celebrated those who’ve proven that success isn’t limited to just one arena. These student-athletes are not only excelling in their chosen sports but are also champions in the classroom balancing training, tournaments, and schoolwork with discipline and heart.
Each year, this prestigious award honours students who embody the true spirit of sportsmanship and academic excellence. Behind every award is a story of sacrifice, early mornings, strong support systems, and a relentless drive to succeed.
Why These Young Athletes Inspire Malaysia
MILO® has always believed that “Sports is a Great Teacher”, and the stories of this year’s award winners perfectly reflect that belief. From para-athletes overcoming physical challenges to dedicated coaches nurturing future starts, these inspiring individuals are shaping the future of Malaysian sports while also building resilience, focus, and leadership skills along the way.
Lim Kerwin, Head of Sports Marketing at MILO®, Nestlé Malaysia, shared, “Each of their stories is a testament to the positive influence sports can have on young lives. We remain dedicated to nurturing the next generation, knowing the values gained through sport will positively shape strong individuals both in sports and in life.”
