Kuala Lumpur is set to welcome one of its most popular running events this year. The Coway Run 2026 Malaysia will take place on 27 September at Stadium Merdeka, marking its 10th edition.

This milestone event is more than just a race. It reflects a decade of movement, community, and a shared goal of living better.

A Decade of Progress and Community

This year’s theme, “Forward Without Limits,” highlights growth and resilience.

Coway is also celebrating its 20th anniversary, making this event even more meaningful. Over the years, the run has grown from a simple fitness activity into a nationwide community event.

It brings together people from different backgrounds, all moving towards a healthier lifestyle.

New Race Category Introduced

One of the biggest changes this year is the introduction of a 30KM category.

This replaces the traditional 21KM race for 2026. The new distance is designed to challenge runners to push further and test their limits.

At the same time, the event remains inclusive with multiple categories:

• 5KM fun run (adults)
• 5KM run (children)
• 10KM run
• 30KM challenge

This mix allows both beginners and experienced runners to take part.

More Than Just a Run

The event will feature a lively race village with games, activities, and interactive booths.

It is designed not only for participants, but also for families and visitors. This creates a more engaging environment where people can spend time together.

The goal is to make wellness more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Supporting Communities Through Every Step

Coway is also linking the event to a social cause.

For every ticket sold, RM10 will go towards the Coway Happy Water Project. This initiative focuses on providing clean water access to indigenous communities.

This means participants are not only running for themselves, but also contributing to a larger community effort.

Ticket Sales and Early Offers

Tickets for Coway Run 2026 will be available starting 1 May 2026.

There will be a 24-hour early sale with prices from RM49, followed by a 72-hour sale and general ticket sales until 31 August.

Early buyers will also have a chance to win exclusive prizes, adding more value to early registration.
