You have been to a Big Bad Wolf sale. You have never been allowed inside the Wolf Den. For the first time ever, that changes: Big Bad Wolf Books is opening the doors of its home at Wolf House, Shah Alam, for THE WOLF DEN SALE 2026, running from 7 to 9 November 2026, 9am to 9pm daily. Entry is free, and more than 10 million books live inside.

Why the Wolf Den Sale 2026 is a first

For years, Malaysians have flocked to Big Bad Wolf sales in search of their next favourite reads. The brand has brought millions of books to communities across Malaysia and around the world. But one place has always been out of reach: the Wolf Den, the home of Big Bad Wolf Books, where its books live between sales.

Wolf House sits in Taman Alam Indah, Seksyen 33, Shah Alam. From the road it is a working building with a glass-fronted office block and a long red roof behind it. Behind that roof is the Wolf Den: the stacks where Big Bad Wolf keeps the books that travel to its sales across Malaysia and overseas.

No one outside the team has ever stepped inside. On Saturday 7 November, THE WOLF DEN SALE 2026 opens those doors for three days only. Big Bad Wolf says it has never done this before, and nobody knows whether it will happen again.

What to expect inside the Wolf Den

This is no ordinary book sale. Visitors walk the stacks: racks of books running from floor to ceiling, all under one roof. The books are sorted into three sections, Children, Fiction and Non-fiction, so there is something for every reader and every age. Big Bad Wolf’s own welcome sums it up: step inside, welcome to book heaven.

Prices start from RM1, with five price points in all: RM1, RM5, RM8, RM10 and RM15. Two things worth knowing before you go. “Books from RM1” means prices start at RM1, not that every book costs RM1. And “over 10 million books” describes everything that lives in the Wolf Den, not the number on sale.

Big Bad Wolf is pitching the event as a day out rather than a shopping trip. Music plays through the Den while you browse, and there is a spot to grab a drink, sit down and catch up with friends. If you remember the queues at the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale 2024, expect a more relaxed pace here. With 12 hours of opening each day, there is time to take it slow.
