Skechers Waterfront Shoppes is now open. The Comfort Technology Company™ has joined the opening line-up at Penang’s largest mall with a new 4,361-square-foot Concept Store in Gelugor, making it one of the first brands to welcome shoppers at The Waterfront Shoppes.
The new outlet strengthens the global footwear brand’s presence across Northern Malaysia and gives Penang shoppers a single destination for its latest lifestyle and performance footwear, apparel and accessories.
Inside the Skechers Waterfront Shoppes Concept Store
The store reflects Skechers’ modern approach to retail. Structured lighting and an open, unhurried layout let shoppers browse the full range with ease, while the brand’s signature muted palette keeps the focus firmly on the products.
Dynamic LED displays run throughout the space, showcasing the newest collections alongside Skechers ambassadors such as Pickleball athlete Tyson McGuffin and Asia Pacific Brand Ambassador Apo Nattawin Wattanagitiphat.
Dedicated Sections for Every Shopper
Skechers has organised the floor into dedicated sections for Lifestyle, Performance, Women, Men, Kids and Foamies®, so it is easy to find the right pair whether you are shopping for yourself or the whole family.
The Performance section covers running, walking, pickleball and golf, giving shoppers the chance to compare styles designed for different ways of staying active.
Families will also find a bright Kids section, complete with colourful footwear walls and apparel for younger shoppers.

2. Grand Opening Specials: RM100 Voucher and Free Popcorn
