Moxy Putrajaya wants your next company meeting to feel a lot less like a meeting. The lifestyle hotel is bringing its bold, energetic personality to MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions), turning workshops, team-building sessions and corporate celebrations into lively gatherings where ideas flow and there is always room for a little fun.
To show how it works, the hotel hosted its “MICE to Meet You” activation on 9 October 2026, welcoming about 30 corporate clients and more than 50 members of the media for a walk through its five themed Fun Rooms.

Moxy Putrajaya Offers a Playful Alternative to the Boardroom
Set against Putrajaya’s formal administrative backdrop, the hotel offers something refreshingly different: colourful, unconventional spaces designed to help guests connect beyond the agenda. Each of its five Fun Rooms can be adapted for focused discussions, training, networking or celebrations, all supported by modern meeting technology.
Location helps too. Moxy Putrajaya is directly connected to IOI City Mall, Malaysia’s largest shopping mall, making it convenient for both local and travelling delegates. Its dining options and lifestyle-driven atmosphere round out the package for companies tapping into Malaysia’s growing business events scene.
The activation opened with welcoming remarks from Hotel Manager KK Chan and Director of Sales & Marketing Mike Chan.
“Whether for a corporate meeting, workshop, team-building session or company celebration, Moxy Putrajaya offers event organisers a refreshing alternative to the traditional corporate format. With its bold design, lively atmosphere and unconventional approach to hospitality, the hotel brings its signature Moxy spirit to every occasion,” said Mike Chan, Director of Sales & Marketing, Moxy Putrajaya.
Fun Room 1: Meetings With a Side of Darts

Arranged in a U-shape, Fun Room 1 is built for collaborative discussions, presentations and executive meetings. A fixed high table setup gives the space a more casual, interactive feel. True to the Moxy personality, a meeting break here can easily turn into a friendly dart match that sparks creativity and gets the discussion going again.
Fun Room 2: Hexagonal Tables for Hands-On Workshops
Fun Room 2 showcased a classroom-style setup for up to 18 participants on distinctive hexagonal tables. The modular layout suits training sessions, workshops and breakout discussions, encouraging collaboration while adding a contemporary visual touch to the meeting.
Fun Room 3: A Colourful Setting for Celebrations

For the activation, Fun Room 3 was transformed into a vibrant Chinese banquet with five round tables, and it fits up to six at full capacity. As one of Moxy Putrajaya’s larger event spaces, its playful colour palette and spacious layout make it ideal for social functions and celebrations. It can also host up to 52 guests in classroom style or 80 in theatre seating.
Fun Room 4: A DIY Hub for Team Building

Fun Room 4 added an experiential twist, showing how Moxy Putrajaya can customise team-building and engagement activities for corporate groups.
At the Molulu Dress-Up Corner, guests personalised Moxy’s signature plush mascot with different outfits and took it home as a keepsake. Over at the Annjfr creative station, participants coloured doodle illustrations on greeting cards and drawstring bags. Aspiring mixologists, meanwhile, joined a mocktail workshop to craft their own signature drinks under the guidance of Moxy’s bartending team.
Fun Room 5: Where Downtime Sparks Fresh Ideas

Fun Room 5 proved that relaxation and productivity can go hand in hand. Designed as an informal brainstorming zone, it comes with bean bags, board games, carrom, Snakes & Ladders, Monopoly and a full-sized pool table. The casual setting gives teams a place to step away from formal discussions, recharge and return with fresh ideas.
Why Moxy Putrajaya Works for Your Next Corporate Event
Throughout the activation, guests experienced the full range of Moxy Putrajaya’s meetings and events offering, from structured business settings to engaging recreational activities. They also enjoyed the hotel’s signature coffee break spread, while selected guests toured its guestrooms and facilities.
By blending function with fun, Moxy Putrajaya continues to give organisations a venue where productivity and playfulness coexist, and where meaningful business connections lead to memorable experiences. It is part of a growing Moxy footprint in Malaysia, with a new Moxy hotel planned for Melaka.
