Suria KLCC Deepavali celebrations have arrived, and this year the Festival of Lights comes in regal style. The Suria KLCC Group is bringing palace-inspired décor, traditional Indian arts and festive shopper rewards to Suria KLCC, Alamanda Shopping Centre in Putrajaya and Mesra Mall in Terengganu, starting 23 October, ahead of Deepavali on Sunday, 8 November 2026.
With Kuala Lumpur welcoming global visitors for Visit Malaysia 2026, it also offers a vivid first taste of how Malaysians celebrate Deepavali together.

Suria KLCC Deepavali Décor: A Royal Palace Courtyard
From 23 October to 11 November 2026, Suria KLCC’s Centre Court is transformed into an Indian Palace Courtyard inspired by traditional royal Indian architecture. A pair of 10-foot peacocks frames the grand archway at the entrance, while a striking LED screen with water features, dotted with glowing oil lamps and lotus blooms, adds to the splendour.

At its heart stands the Grand Pavilion, blending traditional architectural motifs with intricate golden latticework and vibrant silk accents. It is the perfect backdrop for festive family photos.

Illuminated kolam installations, each crowned with a flame-shaped lamp, add even more colour around the courtyard.

Festive Dance Performances
The courtyard comes alive on 1, 7 and 8 November 2026 with festive dance performances, as rhythmic footwork and expressive gestures take centre stage.

Kolam Tart Decorating Workshop by Flaaah
For a more hands-on celebration, the Kolam Tart Decorating Workshop by Flaaah runs on 31 October, and 1, 8 and 9 November 2026. Participants decorate Flaaah’s limited-edition Masala Chai Custard Tart with colourful kolam-inspired patterns, then head to the Flaaah outlet to enjoy an exclusive 20% off a full box of tarts.

Pleines Natures: Paper Bouquet Workshop by Yves Rocher
On 31 October, and 1, 7 and 8 November 2026, Yves Rocher invites visitors to create their own paper card bouquet and finish it with a spritz of the newest fragrance from its Pleines Natures collection.

An Open House Welcome
Francis Tan, Executive Director and CEO of Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd, said Deepavali in Malaysia has always been about the open house, where the door is open and everyone is welcome.
“A palace courtyard is where guests are received, so we’ve built one for our shoppers and visitors,” he said. “Whether you’re with us at Suria KLCC, Alamanda or Mesra Mall, we want you to feel like an honoured guest.”
