Malaysia is set to host the inaugural WPC Asia Pickleball Grand Slam 2025, the largest pickleball event in Asia. More than 1,500 players from over 16 countries will compete at The Pickle Grounds, an extraordinary rooftop venue atop One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya. Moreover, the tournament expects to attract 3,000+ spectators, firmly placing Malaysia on the global pickleball map.
A World-Class Pickleball Festival

Since 2019, the WPC series has grown to over 80 events in 15+ countries. Notably, the Asia Grand Slam marks the region’s first-ever WPC Grand Slam. With a RM120,000 prize pool, the competition will also feature an Asia Pickleball Industry Summit and the region’s first Pickleball Boulevard, a vibrant festival zone hosting social courts, wellness showcases, brand activations, and a Malaysian food and craft bazaar.
Inspiring Athletes, Global Rankings

Top athletes are lining up, including India’s three-time Single/Doubles/Mixed Champion Vanshik Kapadia, Philippines’ defending champ Anna Clarice Patrimonio, and local talents like Colin Wong. Then there’s Sharneem “Neem” Reyes, a US-based former tennis pro, who’s returning to Malaysia to compete.
“Competing in the WPC will be an amazing opportunity to test myself and reconnect with the Malaysian pickleball community.”
Also, this even integrates with Pickleball Global, a digital platform that updates global rankings, letting Malaysian players compete on the international leaderboard.
Be Part of Asia’s Pickleball Breakthrough

This event isn’t just about elite play. It’s also Asia’s largest community pickleball tournament and a tourism driver, projected to generate MYR13 million in economic impact. It’s supported by the Ministry of Tourism and aligns with Visit Malaysia 2026, endorsed by major governing bodies like WPF, IPF, and MPA.
