
OREO and BTS, the global music group have unveiled a limited-edition cookie collaboration that combines Korean-inspired flavours with a fan-focused campaign spanning more than 80 markets worldwide.
The launch marks BTS’s first global partnership with a snacking brand and introduces a brown sugar-pancake flavoured OREO inspired by hotteok, a popular Korean street food. The campaign will also bring special fan experiences to Malaysia, including a pop-up event at Sunway Pyramid.
A Taste Inspired by BTS’s Childhood Memories
The Limited Edition OREO & BTS Cookies feature a sweet creme inspired by hotteok, a traditional Korean pancake filled with brown sugar.
According to BTS, the flavour was chosen because of fond childhood memories associated with both hotteok and OREO cookies. The collaboration allows the group to share a piece of Korean culture with fans around the world through a familiar snack.
The cookie also features OREO’s first-ever purple biscuit, a nod to BTS’s global fan community.
Special Designs Created for BTS Fans

To celebrate BTS’s 13th anniversary, the group designed 13 unique cookie embossments exclusively for the collaboration.
The designs include BTS member names, the group’s iconic light stick, and special symbols linked to the BTS fan community. Three cookie designs also combine to reveal a hidden message for fans.
The packaging takes inspiration from South Korea’s bustling street markets, reflecting the culture and atmosphere behind the hotteok-inspired flavour.
A Global Campaign Built Around Fan Messages
The collaboration extends beyond the product itself through a worldwide fan initiative.
Inspired by the tradition of BTS fans writing letters to the group, OREO is inviting supporters to submit digital messages through my.oreosea.com or by scanning a QR code found on participating packs.
Fans may also stand a chance to win exclusive OREO and BTS merchandise as part of the campaign.
Malaysian Fans Can Join the Experience

In Malaysia, OREO will host a special pop-up experience at Blue Concourse, Sunway Pyramid, from 8 to 14 June 2026.
Visitors will be able to sample the new hotteok-inspired flavour, submit their own messages to BTS, and participate in various activities tied to the campaign.
Consumers who make qualifying purchases may also redeem limited-edition merchandise, including stickers, plates, and aprons, while stocks last.

The Limited Edition OREO & BTS Cookies will be available for pre-sale from 2 June 2026 through the official Mondelez store on Shopee before expanding to retailers nationwide.
With collectible cookie designs, a Korean-inspired flavour, and a global fan campaign, the collaboration is expected to attract strong interest from both BTS fans and OREO consumers.
