adidas has launched its new Home of Originals concept at The Campus Ampang, introducing a community-focused retail space in Kuala Lumpur.

The store marks adidas Malaysia’s first location outside a traditional shopping mall. Set within the redeveloped Campus Ampang compound, the concept combines fashion retail with lifestyle and sports experiences.

A Different Retail Approach

The new store features adidas Originals apparel, footwear, and accessories together with a personalised “MADE FOR YOU” zone for visitors.

According to adidas Malaysia Country Manager Preston Page, the space is designed to go beyond normal retail by creating a hub for local community activities and engagement.

The company also plans to organise events, run club meetups, and future football-related activations around the location.

Opening Weekend Activities

From 1 to 3 May, adiClub members were offered exclusive rewards during the opening weekend.

Customers who spent RM399 received complimentary treats from local brands including Piccoli Lotti and Universal Bakehouse, while selected purchases came with limited Campus vinyl giveaways.

Members could also redeem Pilates sessions at Flow Studio using adiClub points as part of the launch campaign.

adidas Football Park Planned

Beyond the retail space, adidas also announced plans to transform the football field at The Campus Ampang into the adidas Football Park.

The facility is expected to host football activities and community experiences aimed at bringing people together through sport.

The move reflects a growing trend among global brands to create experience-led spaces instead of relying only on traditional retail formats.

A Growing Lifestyle Hub in Kuala Lumpur

The Campus Ampang has become one of Kuala Lumpur’s emerging lifestyle destinations, attracting brands focused on fitness, culture, food, and community experiences.

For adidas, the new concept reflects changing consumer preferences as younger urban audiences increasingly look for social and lifestyle-driven spaces alongside shopping.
