ZUS COFFEE is embracing the realities of modern adulthood with the launch of ZUS BUDDY: Work in Progress, a regional campaign that celebrates growth, self-discovery, and the everyday journey of figuring things out.
The campaign is built around a message many young adults can relate to: nobody has everything figured out, and growth is an ongoing process.
According to ZUS COFFEE, the initiative reflects the shared experiences of balancing work, responsibilities, and personal aspirations while navigating the challenges of daily life.
A Playful Take on Adulting

As part of the campaign, ZUS COFFEE introduced the Kinda Adult Meal, a Malaysia-exclusive set inspired by the nostalgic concept of kids’ meals but reimagined for adults.
Each set comes with a drink, a new food item, and an exclusive collectible figurine from the ZUS BUDDY: Work in Progress collection.
The launch adds a light-hearted and relatable twist to everyday coffee runs while encouraging customers to embrace their own personal journeys.
Collectibles Inspired by Everyday Life

The limited-edition collection officially rolled out across Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Brunei, and Thailand from 3 June 2026.
Featuring familiar ZUS BUDDY characters such as Blue Buddy, Pinky Boo, Bean Boss, Frappe Fren, Choco Chipster, and Porta Pal, the figurines capture different moods and moments commonly experienced in working life.
Fans can also look out for two secret characters, Zen Cha and Mama Puff, as well as the exclusive Grab Buddy, available through selected GrabFood orders.
More Than Just Coffee

Through the campaign, ZUS COFFEE aims to position itself as more than a coffee brand, serving as a companion for people navigating the ups and downs of daily life.
The collectibles are available with purchases of selected ZUS Handcrafted Drinks, excluding frappes, while stocks last.
By combining coffee culture with relatable storytelling, the brand hopes to create small moments of connection and encouragement for its customers.
