There’s something electric about the way a city feels just before Chinese New Year, the lights, the laughter, the promise of fresh beginnings. This year, that energy has a name: Tiger Town 2026.
Back for its second year, Tiger Beer’s signature festive celebration has roared into Kuala Lumpur and is set to charge forward to Penang, transforming familiar malls into high-energy playgrounds powered by its daring spirit of 敢敢冲 (Dare to Charge Forward).
Tiger Town 2026 Roars Across Two Cities
Launched on 23 January 2026 at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, Tiger Town opened with a ceremonial gong strike by HEINEKEN Malaysia’s management team. The night erupted in Tiger rockets and firecrackers, a bold, contemporary twist on classic Chinese New Year rituals, followed by a dynamic lion dance that blessed the space with prosperity and momentum.
The multi-day festival runs in Kuala Lumpur through 25 January before making its Penang debut at Gurney Paragon Mall, George Town, from 13 to 15 February 2026. The expansion marks a significant evolution for Tiger Town, turning what was once a single-city celebration into a multi-city movement.
A Soundtrack For The Fearless

At the heart of Tiger Town is its live stage, the engine driving the entire experience. Kuala Lumpur’s lineup features high-energy performances from popular group 3P, festive favourite Chang Yong, and charismatic performer Joe Chang, alongside specially curated sets by An Livehouse.
The music blends familiar anthems with cutting-edge sounds, creating a defiantly joyful soundtrack for festival-goers ready to welcome the new year with courage. It’s not just a concert; it’s a call to charge forward.
Games That Bring The Squad Together

Beyond the stage, Tiger Town 2026 transforms friendly competition into shared celebration. Themed interactive challenges inspired by the 敢敢冲 spirit test participants’ coordination, speed, and teamwork.
These squad-based games are designed to spark connection. It’s playful, fast-paced, and unmistakably communal, redefining how Chinese New Year gatherings can look and feel.
Street Culture Meets Festive Spirit

Encircling the main stage is a curated market developed with Lesgo Market, spotlighting local makers and eateries that reflect Tiger’s grassroots ethos. The marketplace adds depth to the experience, grounding the high-energy performances in authentic community creativity.
Adding a fashion-forward edge, Tiger Town 2026 also introduces the exclusive Tiger x atmos: Spirit of the Tiger collection. The collaboration with Tokyo streetwear label atmos merges traditional Japanese calligraphy with bold graphic storytelling inspired by Asian street culture. The result? Street-ready pieces that translate the Dare to Charge Forward philosophy into wearable attitude. The collection is available at selected atmos retail stores and online.
Julie Kuan, Marketing Manager of Tiger Beer Malaysia, said:
