In Taiping, Spritzer Berhad, Malaysia’s leading natural mineral water brand, hosted a meaningful community visit at Spritzer EcoPark as part of its ongoing commitment to inclusivity. The park, thoughtfully designed to be wheelchair-friendly, offered residents with disabilities a welcoming environment to explore nature comfortably and confidently.
The visit brought together 93 participants, including residents and volunteers, for a day focused on connection, relaxation, and shared moments away from daily routines.

What sets Spritzer EcoPark apart is its universal access design. Wide, smooth pathways and inclusive facilities allow visitors of all abilities to navigate the park with ease. This intentional accessibility turned the visit into more than just a CSR activity, it became a genuine opportunity for participants to engage freely, laugh together, and enjoy nature at their own pace.
According to Winnie Chin, the tranquil surroundings of Spritzer EcoPark create a unique space where confidence, joy, and human connection can naturally flourish. She highlighted how accessible green spaces play a powerful role in fostering dignity and belonging for communities that are often marginalised.
Shared Meals, Mini Golf And Meaningful Moments
The day began with a communal lunch, allowing everyone to settle in before taking part in a mini golf session within the park grounds. Designed to be interactive and inclusive, the activity encouraged bonding in a safe and supportive setting, surrounded by lush greenery.
For Penang Cheshire Home, which has supported persons with physical disabilities since 1978, the experience offered residents a refreshing change of scenery. Its President, Koay Say Loke Andrew, shared that visits like these help foster deeper connections and create lasting memories in an environment where everyone can participate comfortably.
