Traveling can be stressful, especially when flight delays or cancellations disrupt your plans. Recognizing this, Bolt has launched a new Flight Tracking feature in Malaysia, designed to streamline airport pickups at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminals 1 and 2.

How Does Bolt’s Flight Tracking Enhance Your Journey?

With this feature, passengers can link their flight details directly within the Bolt app when scheduling a ride. If your flight is delayed or canceled, Bolt will automatically adjust your pickup time or cancel the ride at no extra cost. This ensures that your driver arrives precisely when you do, eliminating unnecessary waiting times.

To utilize this feature:

Open the Bolt app and tap the ‘Schedule’ button next to the destination search.
Enter your pickup location as KLIA Terminal 1 or 2 and your destination.
Select ‘Add Flight Details’ and input your flight’s landing date, flight number, airline, or departure city.
Choose how many minutes after landing you’d like to be picked up.

Bolt will then monitor your flight in real-time, adjusting your ride accordingly.

Experience Hassle-Free Arrivals with Bolt

As an official ride-hailing partner at over 30 airports worldwide, including KLIA, Bolt is committed to enhancing your travel experience. The Flight Tracking feature is the latest addition to Bolt’s Scheduled Rides service, which allows bookings up to 90 days in advance.

Additional features include:

Easy-to-follow in-app directions with photos to guide you from the terminal to the Bolt pickup area.
Clear airport branding to help you locate your driver swiftly.

Afzan Lutfi, General Manager of Bolt Malaysia, stated:

“With Flight Tracking for Scheduled Rides, our private and Bolt Business customers can now sync their flight details when scheduling a ride to pick them up from the airport. If their flight is delayed or cancelled, we’ll automatically adjust their Scheduled Ride’s pick-up time or cancel the trip at no extra cost.”
