Malaysia has quite a number of great emerging writers such as Hanna Alkaf, Claudia Tan, and more. To support them, we must read and buy the physical books which are available in any bookstores around the country. Another way to support Malaysia’s writings is through book festival. KL Alternative Bookfest 2023 (KLAB23) is announced to be held again this year, on 23 – 26 February. Let’s explore it together!
KL Alternative Bookfest 2023 (KLAB23)
KL Alternative Bookfest 2023 is a joint effort with FIXI, Patriots Publishing, Sinar Harian, SIAR, Avenue J, and Mabopa, with the tagline “Ini Pesta Buku Cara Kita”. There, there’s going to be around 36 exhibitors and ‘art lane’ with their booths. There will also be a premiere of SIAR’s film. And of course you don’t want to miss this!
