Intan Sarah Anisah Zulgafli, 24, a national soccer player in Malaysia joined the New York Dutch Lions FC. This news became hot after New York Dutch Lions FC and Intan Serah posted on their Instagram about welcoming her to the US Women’s Premiere Soccer.

Malaysian international Intan Serah will play for the NYDLFC!! The forward was a bit delayed because of the visa that she needed from the embassy but now that, that is all sorted out she is able to start her journey with us! Welcome to New York and we are excited to have you Intan!

After national football team’s goal keeper, Nurul Azurin Mazlan got into Misaka United FC to play in India League and Celine Chuang got into Germany’s Bayern Munich in 2021, Intan Serah became the third women who got accepted in New York Dutch Lions FC.

Intan Serah said that she only has 18 days left to play in the WPSL because of the SEA Games in Cambodia due to visa issues. But, it doesn’t make her feel less spirit. She still thinks that this is a great opportunity for her and her career in the football industry.
Through her Instagram post, she expressed her thoughts about women football players:
I hope this is gonna be a game changer for women’s football in Malaysia, and inspire a lot of young girls to become better football players by setting their goals high. Insya Allah.
