November 29, marks the day the i-City Immersive Winterland had its grand opening. The event was held at the i-City Shah Alam and was inaugurated by YB Dato’ Hajah Nancy Shukri, Malaysia’s Minister of Women, Family and Community Development. It was a joyous ceremony, and the best part is, what the Immersive Winterland has got to offer is even more than that!

The Immersive Winterland
The highlight of the trip is the 360° Immersive Explorer ride, where you will be having your 7D experience. What activities do people usually do during winter? As you step into the centre, you will be greeted with winter sports simulations such as the Skii Scape and Snowballing.
Then, there are also a few mesmerising digital projections that include the beauty of nature, also engaging animals, which create captivating sensations that will leave your inner child excited for more!

1. Immersive Ski Simulator
Claimed as Malaysia’s first immersive ski simulator, this game simulator makes you feel like you are actually skiing in the snow. Malaysia does not have winter, therefore it is safe to say that we do not have the experience of skiing during winter. Grab your chance to ski on the ice here!
2. Immersive Snowball Simulator
This one right here can either make or break friendships. The Snowball Simulator aims to create a healthy, athletic competition. Roll balls and whoever reaches the finish line first wins. How to roll the ball? That’s the interesting part, and it is also the one you need to find out for yourself.
3. 360° Immersive Explorer
When we hear 3D, we just know that we have to wear glasses to experience the technology to the fullest. But this one does not require you to do that. This ride offers a 7-dimensional experience, which makes it the apex trip of the whole journey in Immersive Winterland. This ride can carry up to 10 pax. Perfect for a getaway with your family and friends!
4. Immersive Exploration Caves
As its name suggests, the Exploration Caves stores engaging (and actually moving), prehistoric creatures that once inhabited the Earth. The animals presented in this cave look so real that you can mistake them for real animals instead. Perfect for an educational trip with your children.
5. Blossom Odyssey
You can witness the beauty of the floral world in Blossom Odyssey. It showcases enchanting flowers of every season there is. Don’t have the opportunity to experience winter, spring, or autumn? The Immersive Winterland has got your back!
Also, if you touch the wall, a group of vibrant coloured butterflies will appear from the spot you touched! This technology is said to have been developed by the joint force of 3 countries: Japan, Korea, and Paris.
