What do you do when you see people violate the COVID-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs)? REPORT.
Instead of doing it in the old fashion way, which is quite a hassle, the Ministry of Health (MoH) is introducing a new feature to allow MySejahtera users to lodge a complaint through the app.
In a statement by the MoH, a ‘complaint’ button will be added soon to let users directly report the SOP violations that they see to the authority.
The health minister, Khairy Jamaluddin has shared a video to demonstrate how the feature works on its Twitter account.
I have asked MySj to update slightly but the feature is there. https://t.co/pWJ51VPvUR pic.twitter.com/IEypqXAHOq

It allows users to choose the types and location of the SOP violation as well as attach a photo to submit to the authority.
Among the violations of SOPs include the failure to:
- Wear facemask
- Maintain social distancing
- Record visitor’s attendance
- Record customer’s body temperature
- Adhere to quarantine orders, and more
With the new feature, users can file a complaint in a much convenient way and help to keep all the SOPs in check.
As of now, it is uncertain when will the feature be available on the MySejahtera app yet so we’ll have to wait for further announcement.
