Ramadan is a time for reflection, giving, and strengthening community ties. This year, Bigo Live, a leading global livestreaming platform, has taken an active role in giving back by partnering with the Kongsi Rezeki: Tahfiz Berselawat 2025 programme.
Led by Malaysian celebrity Putra Amaris, this initiative aims to uplift the lives of vulnerable children. All proceeds from the programme will go towards:
- Maahad Tahfiz Misbahul Falah Keramat – Providing Tahfiz education to children.
- Adina Charity Circle – Assisting children with cancer in getting medical treatment.
This partnership reflects Bigo Live’s commitment to making a positive impact beyond the digital world.
Bigo Live Creators Spreading Joy
To support the cause, Bigo Live gathered 10 content creators who actively participated in several charity events:
- Community Iftar: The creators shared a meaningful meal with the children, strengthening connections and fostering joy.
- Duit Raya Distribution: Bringing smiles to young faces by giving them festive monetary gifts.
- Special Takbir Raya Recording : A heartfelt recording to be played during Eid al-Fitr, adding a special touch to the celebration.
In addition to these activities, Bigo Live donated MYR 12,000 to the Kongsi Rezeki Programme, ensuring continued support for underprivileged children.
“Ramadan is about meaningful reflection and strengthening community relationships. As Hari Raya approaches, we remain committed to mutual support and giving back,” said a Bigo Live Malaysia spokesperson.
