Don Don Donki launches another Jonetz store which is known to be the largest one in Malaysia, at Tropicana Gardens Mall today. It is the second store after the first outlet, which is located at Lot 10, Bukit Bintang.
Spanning 42,243 sq ft of space across two levels, the store offers a wide variety of quality Japanese products. The store features Yatai Japanese street food stalls, CosmeDONKI cosmetic corner and even a Halal section.
JONETZ by Don Don Donki to open 11 stores by June 2024
Known in Japan as Don Quixote, it is operated by Pan Pacific Retail Management (PPRM) Malaysia. PPRM is a global Japanese discount retail chain with more than 680 stores located worldwide. The majority of 580 stores are in Japan, while the remaining 90 are located in other countries including Malaysia.
Pan Pacific Retail is the Malaysian retail division of Japanese company Pan Pacific International Holdings.
The president of PPRM, Satoshi Machida, revealed that the company aims to open 11 Don Don Donki stores by June 2024.

Other than Malaysia, they are also expanding multiple stores in the Pan Pacific area, in countries such as Singapore and Hong Kong with the concept of Japan brand specialty stores.
Feels like a mini Japan in Malaysia
Jonetz is a Japanese discount chain store and is commonly found in the Asia Pacific region. The first Malaysian store occupies 23,476 sq m of space in Lot 10, across three floors in Bukit Bintang.
The store in Lot 10 sells Japanese snacks and groceries, including a variety of halal-certified Wagyu beef platters and sushi platters.
It also offers ready-to-eat meals and desserts like Japanese cakes, mochi and bento sets.
The store even sells cooking equipment (yakinori set) and other electronics items as well as skincare, beauty products and other lifestyle items.
