Paramount Cup 2026 got under way on 22 October with Patrick Ares Mendoza of the Philippines claiming the Men’s Singles Open title. He defeated Australia’s Kyle Stoker 11-8, 11-8 at PLAYA Racquet Club, PARC Subang.
The opening-day result leads into a full weekend in Subang Jaya, where international pickleball competition and a free family festival run side by side until 25 October.

Paramount Cup Draws 1,000 Entries From 18 Countries
Now in its second year, the Paramount Cup has attracted more than 1,000 entries from 18 countries. The tournament serves as an APP Asia Qualifier and is overseen by Australian tournament director Matthew “Matt” Hort, who has managed tournaments across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Confirmed names include Kyle Stoker, Vanshik Kapadia, Roman Estareja, Connie Na Eun Lee, Anna Clarice Patrimonio and Mihika Yadav. Alongside Malaysia, the field features entries from the Philippines, Vietnam, Australia, India, Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom.
“It is encouraging to see how Paramount Cup has grown in just two years, attracting players from 18 countries while creating more opportunities for young talent to compete. Beyond the sporting competition, what matters to us is the way this event brings people together,” said Beh Chun Chong, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of Paramount Corporation Berhad.
He added that, as the People’s Developer, Paramount believes great places are defined by how they nurture communities and create shared experiences. The tournament is one way the group brings that philosophy to life.
