Ahead of the highly anticipated Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (KLSCM) 2026, ASICS Malaysia unveiled its official 42-member KLSCM Pacer Squad, the exclusive ASICS NOVABLAST™ 6 “Unity in Motion” colourway, and the ASICS x KLSCM 2026 Apparel Collection at TRX City Park on 5 September 2026.
One Shoe. One Malaysia. One Big Run.
Designed by local creative Wilson Ng, the exclusive NOVABLAST™ 6 is inspired by “Unity in Motion”, bringing a hint of Malaysian spirit into every stride. The off-white upper and white base with a little pop of red, blue, yellow and white take inspiration from the Malaysian flag. Even the sock liner gets a pinch of local touch with an abstract “KL” design.
In regardless you run fast or slow, there’s always room for everyone on the road. 42 Pacers. Thousands of Runners. One Goal.
The 42 official KLSCM pacers will lead runners across the 10KM, 21KM and 42KM categories on race day.
More than keeping an eye on the clock, these pacers are there to guide, motivate and cheer runners on whether they are chasing a new personal best or simply aiming to cross the finish line. “Our KLSCM 2026 pacers have gone through a stringent assessment process to qualify and be selected. These motivated indivisuals plan to help as many runners as possible achieve their goals and finish the race successfully. We greatly apprieciate their time, effort and dedication,” said Mr Rainer Biemans, Director of Dirigo Events.

The KLSCM pacers will hit race day in official ASICS pacer gear, paired with the NOVABLAST™ 6 and SONICBLAST™ 2 performance shoes.
NOVABLAST™ 6 features lightweight, bouncy and energetic ride, making it well suited for runners looking to maintain momentum across varying distances.
Meanwhile, the SONICBLAST™ 2 is built for runners looking for a more propulsive feel and extra momentum, supporting faster-paced running.
The all-new ASICS SONICBLAST™ 2 will be available at all ASICS stores and on ASICS.com from 18 September 2026, priced at RM829.
The ASICS x KLSCM 2026 Collection is available from 5 September 2026 across ASICS retail stores nationwide. However, the two exclusive cotten tees will be available exclusively at the KLSCM Expo.
