Malaysia’s café culture continues to evolve with the arrival of Churri’s Bodega, a new dessert destination at Menara UOA Bangsar that brings fresh creativity to one of the world’s favourite sweet treats.
Inspired by the fictional characters Churri and Grandpa, the café combines handcrafted churros, imaginative flavours and a whimsical café environment, offering visitors an experience that goes beyond dessert.
A Fresh Take on a Classic Favourite
At the heart of Churri’s Bodega is the idea of reimagining traditional churros with modern flavours while preserving the craftsmanship behind every bite.
The menu features freshly prepared churros alongside its signature Churronut, a churro-inspired doughnut available in flavours such as Pandan Chocolate with Coconut Flakes, White Chocolate with Raspberry, Dark Chocolate with Almond and Caramel with Dried Strawberry.
For customers looking for something more indulgent, the café also serves the Churronut Sand, layered with chocolate, Oreo and vanilla cream.
More Than Just a Dessert Café

The concept is built around the playful personalities of Churri and Grandpa, whose contrasting styles shape both the menu and the café experience.
While Grandpa represents traditional baking techniques, Churri introduces bold ideas and creative flavour combinations, creating a balance between familiar comfort and modern dessert innovation.
The café itself features colourful interiors, interactive corners and Instagram-worthy décor, making it a destination for families, friends and café enthusiasts looking for a unique outing.
Opening Promotion for Early Visitors
To celebrate its opening, Churri’s Bodega is introducing a Bad Fortune Card promotion from 23 June until 31 July 2026.
Customers who make a purchase during the campaign will receive one of Churri’s humorous fortune cards together with surprise rewards. The promotion is available to the first 30 customers daily while stocks last.
Reflecting Malaysia’s Growing Café Culture

Malaysia’s café industry has expanded rapidly over the past few years as consumers increasingly seek creative dining experiences that combine food, design and social interaction.
The launch of Churri’s Bodega reflects this trend by offering an experience that blends storytelling, handcrafted desserts and an inviting atmosphere, adding another unique destination to Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant food scene.
