Thousands of families, runners and LEGO enthusiasts gathered at KLCC Park as the Suria KLCC x LEGO Play Run 2026 concluded with a vibrant weekend celebration that combined fitness, creativity and community wellness.
Held on 6 June, the event marked the grand finale of the LEGO MY Play Festival, which transformed Suria KLCC and KLCC Park into one of Malaysia’s largest LEGO-themed experiences from 21 May to 7 June 2026.
A Fun Run Designed Around Play and Wellness

The highlight of the festival was the 2km Play Run, where participants navigated interactive activity stations and obstacles around KLCC Park.
Designed to encourage movement, teamwork and real-world interaction, the event offered a screen-free experience for families while promoting active lifestyles. Participants also received exclusive LEGO-themed runner kits and specially designed finisher medals.
The event forms part of Suria KLCC’s annual initiative promoting both physical and mental well-being through community engagement.
Mental Health Takes Centre Stage
Beyond the run itself, Suria KLCC continued its commitment to mental health awareness through the return of its “Safe Space” programme.
Running from 25 May to 7 June, the initiative featured workshops, support activities and educational sessions organised with partners including the Mental Illness Awareness & Support Association (MIASA), Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA), NYAWA, The Befrienders KL, IHH Healthcare and Petrosains.
The programme aimed to create greater awareness around mental wellness while providing a supportive environment for visitors of all ages.
LEGO Experiences Across the KLCC Precinct

Visitors also explored a variety of LEGO attractions throughout the festival.
Inside Suria KLCC, large-scale brick creations showcased Malaysian culture, including a replica of the PETRONAS Twin Towers built using more than 51,000 LEGO bricks. Guests could also create personalised LEGO minifigures and explore displays inspired by local street food culture.
At the outdoor Esplanade, families enjoyed the LEGO Football Play Arena, featuring football-themed games and activities inspired by the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026.
A Spectacular Finale Lights Up Kuala Lumpur
The celebration concluded with a stunning LEGO-themed 3D projection mapping showcase on the exterior of Suria KLCC.
Displayed across two evenings, the visual presentation featured colourful LEGO animations inspired by Malaysian culture and global play experiences, drawing thousands of visitors to the KLCC Esplanade.
The finale capped off weeks of activities that successfully brought together creativity, wellness and family engagement in one integrated community event.

Events such as the Suria KLCC x LEGO Play Run 2026 demonstrate how public spaces can be transformed into platforms for community engagement, active lifestyles and positive social impact.
By combining physical activity, creative play and mental health awareness, the initiative highlighted the growing importance of holistic wellness experiences for Malaysian families.
