Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) and LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort have signed a strategic partnership to strengthen rail tourism and improve travel connectivity to Johor.
The collaboration aims to encourage more Malaysians to use ETS rail services for family holidays and tourism activities in the southern corridor.
The initiative also supports broader efforts to promote sustainable travel and strengthen Malaysia’s domestic tourism ecosystem.
Special Discounts for ETS Travellers
As part of the partnership, ETS passengers can enjoy a 35% discount on LEGOLAND Malaysia Day tickets.
The promotion runs from 21 May until 21 November 2026 and is available across all ETS travel sectors nationwide.
The offer is expected to make family travel to Johor more affordable while encouraging greater use of rail transport for leisure trips.
Expanding Rail Connectivity to Southern Malaysia

The collaboration comes as KTMB continues expanding the ETS network, improving accessibility from the northern region, Klang Valley, and other states to Johor.
Rail travel is increasingly seen as a more convenient and comfortable option for families compared to long-distance road journeys.
The initiative also aligns with the national “Road to Rail” aspiration, which encourages safer and more sustainable transportation choices.
Supporting Johor’s Tourism Growth
LEGOLAND Malaysia remains one of the country’s leading family tourism attractions, drawing both domestic and international visitors each year.
By combining tourism experiences with rail connectivity, the partnership is expected to support visitor growth while creating a more seamless travel journey for tourists.
KTMB also plans to expand similar collaborations with tourism operators and attraction partners across Malaysia.
A Growing Focus on Travel Experiences

Travel partnerships between transport operators and tourism destinations are becoming increasingly important as Malaysia strengthens its tourism recovery and regional connectivity.
For travellers, integrated promotions like this offer greater convenience, cost savings, and more accessible family-friendly experiences.
The partnership also highlights Johor’s growing role as a key tourism and leisure destination in Malaysia.
