adidas Malaysia is now strengthening its involvement in the local running scene through a new partnership with SCORE Marathon 2026 as the Official Sportswear Partner.
The collaboration reflects adidas’ continued focus on performance running, innovation, and building a stronger running community across the country.
SCORE Marathon Targets 50,000 Runners
SCORE Marathon 2026 will take place on 18 and 19 July at Dataran Putrajaya.
The event is expected to welcome around 50,000 participants and is aiming to enter the Malaysia Book of Records as the country’s largest running event.
Recognised by World Athletics, the marathon has grown into one of Malaysia’s leading race platforms, attracting runners across different age groups and experience levels.
Through this partnership, adidas hopes to encourage more Malaysians to participate in running while creating stronger engagement with the wider sports community.
Supporting Runners Beyond Race Day
As part of the collaboration, adidas will introduce several activities leading up to the marathon.
This includes a series of running clinics organised with adidas Runners Kuala Lumpur (ARKL). The sessions will be supported by certified coaches, pacers, and experienced runners.
Participants will receive guidance on pacing strategies, endurance training, recovery techniques, and race preparation for categories ranging from 5KM to the full marathon.
Beyond physical sessions, runners will also gain access to digital training tips and community-led runs to help them prepare more confidently.
Race Experience and Product Innovation
adidas will also have a strong presence during the Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) from 16 to 18 July.
The event will feature a dedicated Adizero experiential zone where runners can explore adidas’ latest racing products, including the Adizero Evo SL and Adizero Adios Pro 4.
Visitors can try products, receive race-day advice, and personalise selected race essentials through a customisation booth.
Exclusive adidas x SCORE Marathon merchandise collections will also be available during the event.
Building Malaysia’s Running Community
The partnership reflects a larger trend in Malaysia’s sports and wellness culture.
Running is becoming more community-driven, with brands, organisers, and fitness groups working together to create more engaging experiences for participants.
