Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has announced four new strategic collaborations with local tech players, marking a significant leap in Malaysia’s AI adoption and digital transformation. These Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), exchanged in the presence of Digital Minister YB Gobind Singh Deo and HE Lan Tianli, Governor of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Will see the integration of AI, cloud computing, and next-gen infrastructure across Malaysia’s e-commerce logistics, and public service sectors.
AI Meets Local Expertise to Accelerate Digital Transformation

The partnerships bring together Huawei Malaysia’s advanced technology and local industry know-how to deliver real impact:
- TOGL Technology Sdn Bhd (TOGL) will co-develop an AI-powered e-commerce and loyalty platform by combining market insights with Huawei’s robust AI capabilities.
- Skyvast Cloud Sdn Bhd (Skyvast) team up with Huawei to launch a Sovereign AI Cloud infrastructure, marking the first deployment of Huawei’s Ascend GPUd and Kunpeng servers outside China. This collaboration is set to drive AI solutions across Malaysia and the broader ASEAN market
- Tiong Nam Logistics Solutions Sdn Bhd (Tiong Nam) will infuse AI and cloud tech into Malaysia’s warehousing and supply chain operations, revolutionizing logistics with smarter, data-driven workflows.
- In the public sector, a three-way MoU between Malaysia, HeiTech Padu berhad, and MY E.G Services Bhd (MyEG) will explore AI-powered digital government services including immigration and transportation, paving the way for smarter governance and citizen services.

Held at Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre, the Mou exchange also included academic collaborations between:
- Guilin University of Electronic Tenchnology & Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah
- Guangxi Minzu University & Tunku abdul Rahman University
These partnerships foster cross-border knowledge exchange and enhance Malaysia’s position as a regional tech hub.
