All the way from Washington, D.C to Malaysia, Five Guys is finally opening its first outlet in Malaysia at Genting Highlands! Yesterday, Five Guys Malaysia shared a countdown post for their opening through their social media.
In the post, it stated, “T-3 days to freshly made customisable burgers, crispy fries and creamy milkshakes! Are you ready?”
Very soon on the upcoming Monday (25 October 2021), the famous American burger joint is ready to serve Malaysians!
Five Guys burger is a must-try!
If you haven’t already heard of them, they offer mouth-watering burgers (especially cheeseburgers), sandwiches, hot dogs, fries and customizable milkshakes that you wouldn’t want to miss!
They also allow you to pick the toppings you like, serving you specially customized meals. The toppings typically include a range of vegetables and sauces.

In addition, most of their outlets serve the Coca-cola freestyle soda dispenser which offers a wide selection of drinks. Our neighbour, Singapore gets the machine too so we are expecting the same for Malaysians.
In their Instagram post, the burger joint also cheekily mentioned that they won’t serve the complimentary peanuts, which Five Guys are known for serving at most of their outlets, in this new outlet in Genting Highlands. However, they said there’s still a lot that you can look forward to so don’t worry.
On the other hand, myBurgerLab has also been eyeing Five Guys since last year!
