The Groove Room is an independent local music studio located behind the Amcorp Mall in Petaling Jaya which was opened in January 2020. The founder of The Groove Room wanted to share his passion for music, hence why this studio was established.

Music lovers, you must be excited to hear this! The Groove Room has over 2000 pieces of vinyl and CDs of all music genres for you to listen to. Ballad, jazz, or anything, just name it! You can also purchase the audiophile vinyl and CDs.
Once you enter the store, you will be greeted with a lot of records being framed around the wall. You can easily spot some classic vinyls such as Frank Sinatra, Pink Floyd, and Nat King Cole. This record store also has CD albums that turn into vinyl like Eminem, Indie Arie, and Tupac. Whose idea is to create such a good place for music lovers?

The Groove Room was founded by Mohan, who loves to collect vinyls. Mohan just wanted to share his collection of vinyl with other people when he first started to open this shop in 2020. It might look like a normal record store to you but to Mohan, it is a place for him to enjoy his hobby.
Mohan said in the interview with SAYS, that he doesn’t get much profit from The Groove Room but it is fine because he first created this space purely because of the love that he has for vinyl.

All the frames on the wall are sized perfectly for all the records that he has. You can see many vinyls from different artists and albums on the wall, just like a gallery of music.
