This Hari Raya, Sun Life Malaysia is reviving the true spirit of giving with its heartwarming “Baju Raya Lama Baharu” campaign. Through this initiative, 100 children from Rumah Kasih Harmoni received brand-new festive outfits made from pre-loved garments.
The campaign, held in partnership with KLOTH Cares, INTI International College Subang, and AEON BiG, promotes sustainability, creativity, and generosity. Sun Life Malaysia encouraged Malaysians to donate gently worn Baju Raya, which talented fashion design students from INTI later transformed into stylish new outfits. Meanwhile, KLOTH Cares repurposed the remaining garments to support textile sustainability.

Sustainable Giving: How the Campaign Made a Difference
From February to March 2025, donation boxes were available at Sun Life Malaysia offices and AEON BiG outlets nationwide. Malaysians showed overwhelming support, contributing 520kg of pre-loved clothing.
Young Designers Bring New Life to Old Clothes
Fashion design students from INTI International College Subang worked on 100 selected outfits, turning them into beautiful and personalized Baju Raya for the children.
Upcycling for a Greener Future
KLOTH Cares repurposed the remaining garments, ensuring every piece served a new purpose instead of ending up in landfills.
Spreading Joy at Rumah Kasih Harmoni
A special highlight of the campaign was Alif Satar’s visit to Rumah Kasih Harmoni, where he interacted with the children and helped them design their dream Raya outfits. The excitement on their faces when they saw their designs come to life made the effort even more rewarding.
