Some dinners feed the stomach. Others feed memory. This Ramadan, Langkawi International Convention Centre is doing both.
For the first time ever, Santapan Warisan, LICC steps into the spotlight as a heritage dinner buffet that turns the island’s largest ballroom into a living archive of Malay culinary tradition. Managed by The St. Regis Langkawi, this debut experience is less about spectacle, and more about stories served warm, one dish at a time.
A Heritage Buffet With Heart
Running from 20 February to 18 March 2026, Santapan Warisan transforms LICC into a new dining destination on the island. Curated by The St. Regis Langkawi’s culinary team, the buffet features more than 50 traditional and contemporary Malay dishes, with rotating menus designed to keep every visit fresh.
At its core is Malay Sous Chef Mohd Fauzi Hashim, a Langkawi native whose decades of experience bring authenticity, restraint and deep cultural respect to the table. The result is food that feels familiar yet elevated—comforting without losing its soul.
When Culinary Icons Meet Local Mastery
Adding star power to Santapan Warisan is joined by celebrated Malaysian chef Dato’ Fazley Yaakob, whose signature dishes sit proudly alongside the in-house creations.
Expect crowd favourites such as Gulai Daging Salai with Pucuk Ubi, Itik Panggang Masak Lemak Cili Padi, and Rendang Daging Minang, dishes that resonate across generations and feel right at home in a communal buffet setting.
From Hawker Classics To Grand Carving Stations

Beyond its signature highlights, Santapan Warisan at LICC offers a generous sweep of Malaysia’s beloved flavours. Hawker-inspired selections like Mamak-style mutton soup, freshly made Roti John, and classic satay share space with indulgent carving stations, including honey-roasted chicken, grilled seabass with sambal, and a whole roasted lamb leg.
Designed for families, friends and group gatherings, the experience emphasises generosity, warmth and exceptional value—hallmarks of traditional Ramadan dining.
Dining Elevated By Space, Sound And Spirit
Hosted in LICC’s 1,660-square-metre Grand Ballroom, the experience is enhanced with daily traditional gamelan performances, creating an atmosphere that is festive yet unhurried. Dedicated prayer facilities and complimentary parking ensure comfort throughout the evening.
Early bird diners enjoy special rates with full prepayment, while group bookings are rewarded with complimentary seats, making Santapan Warisan as practical as it is meaningful.
In a season defined by reflection and togetherness, this heritage buffet stands out not by reinventing tradition, but by honouring it, beautifully, generously, and with intention.
