GoPro, Inc. (NASDAQ: GPRO) is excited to announce the launch of its inaugural GoPro Asia Best Challenge (GoProABC). This competition invites adventurers, content creators, and storytellers from across Asia to submit their favorite video clips from their summer escapades.

With the travel season in full swing, it’s the perfect time to grab a GoPro and start filming. Whether you’re snorkeling on a beach, capturing star trails while camping, or preserving memories with loved ones, any footage shot with a GoPro is eligible for submission.

Entries will be judged based on creativity, video quality, and the unique way moments are captured with a GoPro. Winners will share a prize pool of USD 200,000 and have their footage featured globally in the final GoProABC highlight reel. “If you’re having fun, we want to feel it; if you’re celebrating, we want to see it,” says the challenge organizers.

Highlighting Asia’s Untold Stories

Rick Loughery, GoPro’s Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications, expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, saying:

The region has such a rich plethora of beautiful locations, culture, and untold stories that are rarely highlighted, yet hold real value to us at GoPro.  We see so much amazing content coming from the region and we know that there is an abundance of different perspectives just waiting to be told. We hope that this new challenge inspires even more people to get out their GoPro to capture and share the rich diversity of experiences from their lens. After all, capturing these moments is what GoPro was built for!

How To Participate?

To participate, GoPro users can submit their best unedited, raw video clips from today until 31 July 2024, 11:59 p.m. via GoPro.com/ABC.

Award recipients will be announced in August 2024, and winners will be notified via email from the GoPro Awards portal within one to two weeks of the announcement.

Submitting Through The GoPro Quik App

Participation is free, and all you need to do is capture your most memorable moments with your GoPro. Download the GoPro Quik app on iOS or Android and follow the instructions to submit your clips. Regardless of the number of clips submitted and featured in the final highlight reel, each winner will receive only one share of the prize.
