Charles Brewer Leads Pos Malaysia To Sustainability Victory With Forward Faster CEO Award 2024

The Group Chief Executive Officer of Pos Malaysia Berhad, Charles Brewer, was honoured with the Forward Faster CEO Award 2024 in the Large Company category at the Forward Faster Sustainability Awards 2024, hosted by the UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB).

Pos Malaysia has made notable strides under Brewer’s leadership. The company has deployed 220 e-bikes and 143 e-vans, delivering 2.8 million green last-mile kilometres. It has also installed solar panels on 16 buildings and recycled over 54,000 kg of materials. These efforts contribute to the company’s goal of reducing its carbon footprint by 70% by 2050.

Given these initiatives, Pos Malaysia has improved its delivery performance. Next-day parcel deliveries have increased to over 90%, up from 50% in 2021. The company now also achieves 93% on-time mail delivery, with a customer satisfaction rate of 91%, significantly higher than the industry average of 82%.
