BERNAS kickstarted its Gema Ramadan initiatives with a touching “Buka Puasa Sungkai Programme.” Led by BERNAS Chairman, Dato’ Sri Rohani Abdul Karim, volunteers and mosque committees collaborated to distribute 1,500 packs of bubur lambuk at Ramadan bazaars in Taman Sukma, Matang, and the Darul Hana Mosque.

Additionally, 150 Asnaf families received essential food boxes. BERNAS further solidified community ties by organizing an Iftar event at Darul Hana Mosque, bringing together 300 community members and BERNAS management.

Spreading Eid Joy Across Regions

After spreading Ramadan joy in East Malaysia, BERNAS extended its efforts to the Peninsular, sharing the spirit of Eid with asnaf families and farmers in Yan, Kedah. Over 50 asnaf enjoyed a Raya shopping experience in Alor Setar, while local farmers received bubur lambuk, celebrating the festive season together.

Dato’ Sri Rohani reiterated BERNAS’ commitment to community welfare, emphasizing that corporate social responsibility is ingrained in the company’s DNA. BERNAS prioritizes giving back, uplifting, and creating lasting impact, standing in solidarity with Malaysians during Ramadan.
