Kuala Lumpur, 6 October 2026 – Future dentists in Malaysia will get more hands-on exposure to implant dentistry before they enter clinical practice. Malaysia’s first Anthogyr Centre of Excellence has launched at IMU University, bringing classroom learning closer to the realities of the clinic.

The Centre is a collaboration between IMU University and Anthogyr, a Straumann Group brand specialising in dental implantology solutions.

What the Anthogyr Centre of Excellence Offers

The Centre combines hands-on education, exposure to contemporary implant technologies and knowledge exchange with experienced dental professionals. The goal is to help students build confidence, clinical readiness and a practical understanding of implant dentistry.

It will also serve as a platform for clinical education, faculty development and industry-academia collaboration, while helping practising dentists keep up with evolving technologies and treatment approaches.
