Families heading to Johor this October will have another reason to stay out a little later. LEGOLAND Malaysia Brick-or-Treat 2026 is returning from 1 October to 1 November with Halloween activities designed mainly around children and families.
This year’s programme introduces the Mummy Queen alongside LEGO building challenges, live performances, character encounters and the returning Trick-or-Treat Candy Trail. The resort is also introducing an Evening Ticket on selected days, giving visitors another option to experience the park after 4pm.
A Month of Halloween Activities for Families
Rather than focusing on scares, Brick-or-Treat takes a playful approach to Halloween.
At The Beginning, Mischief Town and the Pumpkin Patch will provide themed spaces for families to explore and take photographs. The Castle will host activities including the Monster Munch Challenge, Boo-ling Bonanza, Scream-O-Meter, Monster Stomp and Giant Buzz Wire.
MINILAND will also host the daily Build-A-Spider activity. Visitors can create LEGO spiders as part of the resort’s target of filling the area with more than 3,000 guest-built spiders during the event.
On weekends, the Trick-or-Treat Candy Trail returns at The Castle, where children can follow the route and collect treats.
New Characters and Live Entertainment
The Mummy Queen joins the resort’s Halloween character line-up for the first time this year. Returning characters include Frankenstein, The Witch, Lord Vampyre and Zombie Cheerleader.
Entertainment will run across different parts of the Theme Park. Shows include The Monster Awakens, Queen Bricktales and One Last Boo! at The Beginning Stage.
At The Castle, visitors can join the Potion Commotion dance party and VIM Dance hosted by Lord Vampyre. A Brick-or-Treat Costume Contest will also take place daily.
Another seasonal attraction is The Great Monster Chase 4D at LEGO Studio 4D in IMAGINATION, combining an animated LEGO Monsters story with 4D effects.
Evening Tickets Open Up Shorter Park Visits
One notable change for 2026 is the introduction of an Evening Ticket.
Available every Thursday, Friday and Saturday in October, the ticket provides entry after 4pm with access to selected rides, character appearances, themed activities and entertainment.
Prices start at RM55 for Malaysian children and seniors, while international children and seniors start at RM65, according to the press release. Visitors should check the resort’s latest ticket conditions before travelling.
Children aged three to 11 who arrive in full Halloween costume can also receive free admission with each paying adult during Brick-or-Treat, subject to the event’s terms and conditions.
Supporting Johor’s Family Tourism Appeal
Seasonal programmes such as Brick-or-Treat add another layer to Johor’s family entertainment offering.
For destinations such as Iskandar Puteri, recurring events can encourage families to plan visits around specific periods rather than treating attractions as one-off experiences. Evening admission also gives visitors more flexibility, particularly those combining the theme park with other activities in Johor.
LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort itself brings together its Theme Park, Water Park, Hotel and SEA LIFE Malaysia in one destination. The resort says the wider complex has more than 80 rides, slides, shows and attractions.
For Malaysia’s visitor economy, family-focused events can also have an impact beyond the attraction. Visits can support demand for accommodation, dining, transport and other services surrounding a major tourism destination.

A Different Way to Experience Halloween
Brick-or-Treat 2026 shows how international celebrations can be adapted for a family audience through play, creativity and shared activities.
For Johor, the month-long programme also adds another seasonal draw to Iskandar Puteri’s tourism calendar. With activities running into the evening on selected days, families have more choice over how they plan their visit.
The event runs from 1 October to 1 November 2026 at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort.
From building and playing to meeting Halloween characters, watching live shows and following the Candy Trail, Brick-or-Treat brings families together for a Halloween celebration filled with playful experiences for children and parents alike.
