Red lanterns glow, LEGO® bricks stack sky-high, and somewhere between cherry blossoms and dragon drums, good fortune is being built. This Lunar New Year, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort isn’t just celebrating the Year of the Horse; it’s turning tradition into an immersive, playful experience for family fun in LEGO style.
Built Brick By Brick
From 22 January to 22 February 2026, the resort transforms into a “Garden of Prosperity,” where Lunar New Year symbols come alive through colourful décor and imaginative LEGO installations.
The centrepiece? A striking 2.4-metre LEGO® Horse, inspired by the LEGO 40779 Year of the Horse Chinese Zodiac Limited Edition set. Carrying an auspicious scroll of blessings, the majestic build symbolises strength, renewal and good fortune while doubling as a must-have photo spot for visitors.
Interactive Play And Festive Tradition

At the heart of the celebration is hands-on fun designed for families to build, explore and prosper together. Guests can collect an activity card and journey through creative challenges across the park, unlocking festive magic along the way. From crafting their own LEGO Horse to stacking prosperity with LEGO Orange Tree Making and contributing to a LEGO Chinese Calligraphy Mural, every activity blends cultural meaning with playful imagination.
Spring Festival Spectacular Takes Centre Stage

The celebration hits full stride from 17 to 22 February 2026 with the Spring Festival Spectacular. High-energy cultural performances, including Lion and Dragon Dances, acrobatic stilt walkers, ancient drum shows and Chinese face-changing acts, fill the park with rhythm, colour and excitement. Daily live shows such as Brick of Prosperity, Lunar Beats Spectacular and Finale of Fortune add to the festive atmosphere, celebrating unity, joy and new beginnings.
Fortune Fest Brings Prizes And Prosperity

Good luck doesn’t stop at the stage. During Fortune Fest, guests who spend RM188 or more in a single receipt at participating retail or F&B outlets stand a chance to win LEGO sets worth up to RM800. With total prizes valued at RM10,000, it’s proof that a little festive spending could lead to brick-built rewards.
As the Year of the Horse gallops in, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort offers more than a celebration. It delivers a joyful space where traditions are honoured, creativity is encouraged, and families can reconnect through play. This Lunar New Year, prosperity isn’t just wished for, it’s built.
