Launched at Taman Rimba Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, the programme is powered by CelcomDigi Berhad in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, DBKL, and YFA Red Star Academy. Officiated by YB Hannah Yeoh, the event celebrated how public and private sectors can join forces to build a sustainable sporting ecosystem that encourages kids to stay active, confident, and connected.
“We simply need more platforms like this to discover and develop talents from an early age,” said YB Hannah Yeoh, highlighting how accessible initiatives like this can turn everyday kids into tomorrow’s champions.
Football, Fun, And Life Lessons
But this clinic isn’t just about dribbling and scoring goals. It’s about discipline, teamwork, and character. Designed for children aged 12 and below, every Saturday session brings together about 70 enthusiastic kids. They are guided by six professional coaches who nurture not just football skills, but also sportsmanship and self-confidence.
What makes it even more special? There are no trials, no barriers, just a safe, inclusive space where every child is welcome to play, learn, and grow.
