Metaphorically speaking, Gen Z is the headline in everyone’s newspaper, and the bad reviews outweigh the good ones. Everyone is aware of the difficulties Gen Z faces: their worries and disengagements, but they can’t seem to bring themselves to put their feet in Gen Z’s shoes. The world may turn its back against Gen Z but they do not need to fret as long as they listen to the advice given to them.
Factors To Focus On
Gen Z faces a lot of struggles, which makes it important to pay attention to this advice before their time to rule the world arrives.
Self-Reevaluation

Happiness is strongly connected with having a sense of purpose and meaning. Therefore, it can be very beneficial for Gen Zs to be encouraged to consider what they want to do, what they want to learn, and the impact they want to make.
Gen Z should participate in regular reevaluation and reassessment in order to identify their own strengths and weaknesses. As we all know, they hold on to the ‘YOLO’ motto so much that sometimes they forget that there are boundaries in life. Take a breather once in a while and reflect on life’s purposes for a brighter future.
Engagement Expansion

People are now working more remotely and in hybrid settings, which has reduced physical engagement. Actually, a significant part of self-worth and purpose comes from socializing. People can exhibit their abilities there, give back to the community, and pick up new skills. And each of these is associated with joy and happiness.
Gen Zers may search for a job that fits with their interests and keep in mind how their work benefits their co-workers, team, and organization. Once they have found a job that suits their liking, they will be motivated to devote themselves to their jobs. Hence, increasing notable engagement between them and the people around them.

What’s one thing that everyone suffers from? Stress.
Stress is something that Gen Zers should be aware of and seek help for. They are a generation that is very easily overwhelmed and the reasons for it are justified. The world has become a bit tough for the current generation. Gen Zers should also constantly remind themselves that some stress is normal. There are ups and downs in life and some tension can really be beneficial. Truthfully, constant contentment is not what defines life.
Social Connection

In case nobody noticed, it is almost safe to say that people function on superficial interactions these days. Ordering coffee is done via an app and shopping can be done in the bedroom. This has significantly reduced real interactions. Hence, Gen Z needs to work on their social skills. Be real, touch some grass, or anything synonymous with living in the present moment, Gen Z needs to engage and form social connections physically to ensure a promising future.
Financial Awareness

Money is a problem for Gen Zers. They struggle to get money, and also can’t seem to keep some in their savings account. Why? A question that is only known by them. By attending classes or learning from mentors about money management principles, Gen Zs can proactively work to increase their financial intelligence. Employers may help Gen Z by paying fair salaries and offering benefits that are worthwhile and carefully thought out, with cues that encourage wise saving and investment for the future.
There are valid reasons to be optimistic about Gen Z’s future. They have survived a pandemic that affected the entire world, but they still have the chance to grow as a human. It includes learning how to be resilient, and form relationships with others. They haven’t had an easy life, and they will face obstacles in the future, but they may build a bright future with their own spirit and the help of others.
