1. Perdana Botanical Garden 

Previously known as Taman Tasik Perdana or Lake Gardens, this park has been termed as the ‘green lung’ of KL for providing a green space. Some attractions in Perdana Botanical Garden include a 4-metre high waterfall, fountains, and a gallery, as well as smaller gardens such as Hibiscus Garden, Sunken Garden, Herbarium and Laman Perdana.

2. Saujana Hijau Park

Rated as one of Putrajaya’s 10 beautiful public parks, it comprises a hilly area that’s been landscaped beautifully. With pine trees, rolling hills, wooden fencing and exotic flowers, this garden is well-known for leisurely outings like picnics or wedding photoshoots. 

The garden is divided into three themed areas: an English Garden, an Oriental Garden, and a European Garden. You’ll see things that are not often common sights in Malaysia, which demonstrates the attention and care that went into choosing the plants and trees for the park.

3. Desa Park City

4. KLCC Park

You can find inner peace within nature in just a few stops from the KLCC lrt station. The view of the twin tower klcc and the symphony lake can easily wash away all the stress. It is recommended that you arrive close to sunset so that you can see the colourful fountain show after dark.

5. Kepong Metropolitan Park

The Kepong Metropolitan Park is a popular kite-flying spot among locals. If you stay until the evening, you’ll catch a pretty sunset by the lake.  There is also a boathouse, cycling track, and football field for families who want to do something fun after having a heavy picnic.

6. Titiwangsa Lake Garden

7. Bukit Jalil Recreational Park
