Their ongoing exhibition, Hurt Need Undo Live By Jerome Kugan, is a two-part solo exhibition held from August 6 – 28 2022 and September 3 – 25. Lostgens’ Contemporary art space is a self-managed, experimental, and public platform. Not only do they champion original, creative, and socially critical contemporary art, but promote artistic and cultural dialogue provided by emerging artists, activists, community leaders, and progressive youth groups! The Jelajah – 踏青 Heritage Nature Park Art Exhibition is one such example and will be held from August 13 – September 10 2022 at Kuala Lumpur Hokkien Cemetery.

While we may know the Richard Koh Fine Art branch in KL, their network is quite widespread – extending to Bangkok and Singapore; the Richard Koh Projects (pop-up travelling artspace) can even appear anywhere around Southeast Asia. Aimed to promote not just Malaysia’s but also Southeast Asia’s contemporary art scene, they are committed to the belief of developing emerging artists’ careers trhough the identification of understated yet promising artworks!

Ilham Gallery is a non-profit foundation and one of the public art galleries dedicated to the promotion of Malaysian arts, culture, and education. Not only is this inspiring goal evidenced in their gift shop – hosting a range of souvenirs carefully sourced from artisans, designers, and craftspeople from all over KL and Malaysia – but also in their annual and ongoing exhibition, Ilham Art Show 2022 (May 17 – October 23 2022), that allows emerging Malaysian artists to experiment and make new artwork!
