U Mobile has just launched its latest Ultra Unlimited Home Fibre Broadband (UUHFB) service today, offering 3 new fibre broadband plans to its customers. The new service comes through a collaboration of U Mobile with Allo Technology, a subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).
Offering 3 home fibre broadband plans
The U Mobile’s UUHFB plans are available in three different speed options including:
- 1Gbps (RM299/month)
- 500Mbps (RM199/month), and
- 100Mbps (RM129/month)
According to U Mobile, all plans come with unlimited internet quota and a 24-month contract.
Symmetrical upload & download speed
All the U Mobile UUHFB plans offer symmetrical connections whereby customers can enjoy the same upload and download speed. Thus, customers can get up to 1Gbps upload and download speed if they subscribe to the 1Gbps plan.
Service is limited to U Mobile customers in selected areas
At the moment, the service is available exclusively to U Mobile Giler Unlimited GX68 and Unlimited Hero P79, P99, and P139 post-paid plans subscribers only. Also, the service is only available in selected residential areas in Melaka, Cyberjaya, Perak, and Kedah.
Half price promo for eligible customers
In conjunction with the launch of the new service, U Mobile post-paid line customers can enjoy a 50% discount on all plans. Additionally, customers who register by 16 December 2021 and activate the broadband by 15 January 2022 will also get a free of charge bill on their first month of subscription.
Nevertheless, the discount is only applicable for 24 months.
Meanwhile, U Mobile intends to make the new service available to more customers at more locations soon, according to Business Today.
