This Raya, smiles got a whole lot brighter at Lotus’s Malaysia. The beloved retailer, in partnership with Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet), wrapped up the highly anticipated MyDebit Syiokkk Raya contest with a grand celebration rewarding two lucky shoppers with a brand-new Proton S70 Premium, worth RM80,000 each!
The contest, which ran from 13 February to 30 April 2025, was a highlight of Lotus’s ‘Senyuman Paling Bernilai’ Ramadan Raya campaign, aimed at delivering joy, rewards, and seamless shopping experiences.
How Two Everyday Shoppers Drove Off in Style
One winner, Maizatul Akma Mazlan, won through his regular shopping, while Kwong Joon @ Kong Joon, a loyal My Lotus’s member who shopped an impressive 324 times during the campaign period, also walked away with a brand-new Proton. Their keys were handed over during a special ceremony at Lotus’s Head Office in Kepong.
Beyond the grand prizes, the campaign saw more than 26,500 qualifying transactions and 2,622 winners, with over RM470,000 in prizes distributed. These included:
- 120 monthly winners receiving RM500 Duit Raya
- 2,500 weekly winners getting RM100 Lotus’s e-vouchers
To enter, shoppers simply had to spend RM100 using their MyDebit card at any Lotus’s store.
Supporting Malaysia’s Move Towards a Cashless Future
Lotus’s Malaysia has seen a 60% shift to cashless payments, driven by the introduction of DuitNow QR since November 2024. This aligns with Malaysia’s national goal of embracing digital transformation and modernising consumer transactions.
“This campaign has brought festive cheer while helping our customers adopt digital payments,” said Nuathip Pituckpongsatorn, Customer and Marketing Executive Director of Lotus’s Malaysia.
Azrul Fakhzan Mainor, Senior Director at PayNet, added, “This is our seventh campaign with Lotus’s since 2022 and has contributed over 30% cash conversion in the past three years. It’s a clear sign of growing public trust in cashless solutions.”
