Marriott International is calling all golf lovers, foodies, and philanthropists to come together for a day of friendly competition and meaningful giving at its Annual Golf Charity Day and Barbeque Cook-Off on Saturday, 21 June 2025, at the scenic Palm Garden Golf Club, IOI Resort City, Putrajaya.

This much-anticipated event, themed “Swing for a Cause,” is not just about golf, it’s a powerful initiative that combines community spirit, culinary delights, and charitable giving, all in support of local outreach programs and UNICEF, to help protect and uplift children’s lives across Malaysia.

Tee Off for a Better Tomorrow

Hosted by Marriott International Hotels and Resorts and the Marriott Worldwide Business Council Malaysia, the Golf Charity Day offers a chance for the business and social community to enjoy a spectacular day on the green while contributing to an important cause.

Golfers will participate in an exciting 18-hole tournament, complete with green fees, caddy service, and a shared buggy. Each participant will also receive a Marriott Bonvoy golf shirt, cap, and exclusive goodie bag. To keep spirits high, on-course refreshments and meals will be sponsored by Marriott Bonvoy.

Participants can also compete in nine mini-contests throughout the tournament for a shot at exciting prizes, and take part in luxury live and silent auctions, featuring stays at Marriott Bonvoy hotels across Asia Pacific.

A Flavourful Evening: Marriott Bonvoy Barbeque Cook-Off

The event doesn’t end at the 18th hole. That evening, guests are invited to the Marriott Bonvoy Barbeque Cook-Off, a vibrant celebration of culinary excellence, music, and giving. Hosted at Palm Garden Hotel, Putrajaya, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, the dinner will showcase a Pan-Asian seafood and meat barbeque buffet prepared by chefs from Marriott Bonvoy restaurants across Malaysia.

Whether or not you played golf, you’re welcome to join the cook-off to enjoy a night filled with:
