While Malaysians journey home to break fast with family, Subway Malaysia is honouring the unsung heroes who keep those journeys safe.
This Ramadan, Subway Malaysia launched its Rayakan Bersama initiative to recognise and appreciate the frontline workers who continue working during the fasting month. From bus drivers and ticketing staff to cleaners and security officers at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), these individuals quietly ensure Malaysia keeps moving during one of the busiest seasons of the year.
A Simple Meal, A Big Message of Gratitude

Through Rayakan Bersama, Subway delivered 300 thoughtfully packed meal bags to TBS staff. Each one included a freshly prepared 6-inch sandwich, a double chocolate chip cookie, and a refreshing drink—along with a heartfelt poem of thanks, printed on a custom sticker to make the gift even more meaningful.
More than just food, these meals served as a reminder: you are seen, appreciated, and valued. While others head home for iftar, these workers make it possible. And Subway wanted to make sure they’re celebrated too.
Subway Celebrates Togetherness in All Forms

“At Subway, we believe togetherness isn’t just about family, it’s about community,” said Kin Siong Kon, CEO of Subway Malaysia. “Rayakan Bersama is our way of thanking those who make Ramadan and Raya journeys safe and smooth. They’re part of the story too.”
The initiative, held at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan, one of Malaysia’s busiest travel hubs, shines a spotlight on the selfless people who work behind the scenes during this festive time. From early mornings to late nights, their efforts ensure that travellers make it home to their loved ones.
A Thoughtful Act That Inspires Others

The management of Maju TMAS Sdn Bhd, operator of TBS, shared their appreciation:
“This thoughtful gesture not only brings joy but also reflects the spirit of Ramadan and Raya—community, compassion, and connection.”
As we move through the holy month, Subway hopes Rayakan Bersama encourages more Malaysians to pause and appreciate the everyday heroes around us—whether at transport hubs, hospitals, or in our neighbourhoods.
Let’s Celebrate Every Hero This Raya

This Ramadan, Subway Malaysia reminds us that celebration goes beyond family—it includes every person who helps make the season meaningful. Whether you’re boarding a bus home or buying food for your family, remember the people making it all possible.
Rayakan Bersama, because every act of service deserves recognition.
