On 18th September, BERNAMA reported that a total of 11 more food courts at the Rest and Service Centre (R&R) and rest stops at PLUS Malaysia Berhad Highway (PLUS) have reopened for dine-in for fully vaccinated individuals.
The locations that are now open for operations include:
- Tapah R&R (Southbound and Northbound)
- Rawang (Northbound)
- Dengkil (Southbound and Northbound)
- Pagoh (Southbound)
- Simpang Pulai R&R (Southbound)
- Mambau (Eastbound and Westbound)
- Sungai Buloh (Southbound)
- Sungai Buloh overhead bridge restaurant, and
- Ulu Bernam R&R (Southbound)
Meanwhile, Seremban R&R (Southbound and Northbound), Nilai rest stop (Northbound) and Serdang rest stop (Northbound) will reopen tomorrow (20th September, Tuesday).
According to PLUS in a statement, the opening is a follow-up to the National Security Council’s (NSC) safety directive which allowed 100% operating capacity with 80% of the employees fully vaccinated.
Customers are required to show their MySejahtera COVID-19 vaccination status
As a verification to dine-in at any of the premises, customers who have received full vaccination are required to show their MySejahtera COVID-19 vaccination status.
On the other hand, customers who have not received a full vaccination can choose Take-Away as well as Pre-Order at the PLUS application or through its website. These measures are taken to minimize physical contact at the premises.
As Klang Valley moves on to Phase Two of the National Recovery Plan recently, the government has given more ease on the restrictions for dine-ins. However, it is still important for all individuals to comply with all standard operating procedures (SOPs) all the time to protect one and another.
Stay safe everyone!
