Looking for the perfect school holiday plan for your kids? This June, Ikano Centres and Mattel are bringing a special event to families across Malaysia. Called Play Without Limits: A Mattel Adventure, it’s packed with fun, learning, and creativity.

The event started at Klippa Shopping Centre in Penang. Now, the adventure continues at Toppen Shopping Centre in Johor Bahru and IPC Shopping Centre in Selangor. With activities inspired by brands like Barbie, Hot Wheels, UNO, and Scrabble, families can enjoy a fun-filled day like no other.

At Toppen Shopping Centre, from 31 May to 15 June, exciting adventures await. Kids can race at the Hot Wheels Loop Challenge or try the Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 video game. They can also enjoy the Barbie Tea Party and join the Barbie ‘You Can Be Anything’ Talent Show.

The show encourages kids to express their dreams. This year’s theme, Limitless Possibilities, inspires them to believe they can be anything they imagine.

Over at IPC Shopping Centre, the fun happens from 5 to 15 June. There are hands-on activities like the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Challenge and Loop Challenge. Children can create at the Barbie Accessorise Yourself Workshop or shine in the Barbie Fashion Show Competition.

What’s a fun day without something special to take home? Shoppers can redeem limited-edition Mattel items with their purchases. Prizes include Hot Wheels Monster Trucks, Barbie colouring sets, UNO pouches, and more.

Word Lovers, Don’t Miss the Scrabble Tournament

The adventure also includes the 5th Scrabble Tournament for Beginners 2025. Held with the Malaysian Scrabble Association, the tournament features regional qualifying rounds at each Ikano Centre. Top players will move on to the National Finals at IPC this July.

This holiday campaign isn’t just about playing. It’s about making memories, building confidence, and bringing families together. According to Low Kiu Fung, Head of Brand Experience at Ikano Centres, “We aim to create spaces that connect people and inspire joy.”
